Cesaral Oil and Water 'in-crescendo', by Cesar Alonso (Cesaral Magic)
Effect:An
audience member points to a card from the deck, and the Magician removes the
four cards of the same number. The spectator chooses and holds the red or
black cards and the Magician the other two cards. Up
to six different times and with increasing degrees of difficulty, the
spectator’s cards are mixed or alternated with the magician’s cards, but
at the end of the magic pass the same colors gather (this is what
happens when Oil and water are mixed…). The fourth time the cards are mixed,
the Magician makes a hole in a place selected by the spectator, and puts
eyelet in the four cards, but, even in those conditions, the cards change
places. For the big ‘crescendo’, even the spectator is able to do the same
by himself! This
effect can even be done with a borrowed deck of cards (Great for doing it to
Magicians…!). . |

Cesaral Agua y Aceite 'in-crescendo', por César Alonso (Cesaral Magic)
Efecto:
El espectador selecciona una carta cualquiera de la baraja francesa, y el Mago coge las cuatro cartas de la baraja que tienen el mismo número. El espectador entonces selecciona y sujeta las rojas o las negras, y el Mago las dos restantes. Hasta seis veces distintas, y con niveles “in-crescendo” de dificultad, el espectador alterna sus cartas con las del Mago, pero al final del pase mágico las cartas de igual color se reúnen (esta separación es por analogía lo que ocurre cuando se mezcla agua con aceite…). La cuarta vez que se intercalan las cartas el Mago remacha un corchete a las 4 cartas en el lugar escogido por el espectador, pero incluso en dichas condiciones las cartas se separan por colores.
Este efecto puede hacerse incluso con baraja prestada (¡Genial para hacerlo a Magos…!).
